The simple form of a fish shape came naturally when using aluminium. Aluminium can not be soldered but need to be assembled otherwize. The aluminium is folded and shaped over a wooden mould, the two ends are then connected with a piece of resin, wood or perspex. I often leave the aluminium raw and brushed, which gives a calm and cool background to the wood.
