Copper is very sensitive to heat, you can heat up copper and watch it change from brown over yellow, red and blue to silver. Copper forms a good base for the coats of industrial paint I add to the surface. I heat treat to make the surface durable. This technique gives a wonderful possibility to work with colour and pattern.
